1. Navigate to Metabase and click on the gear icon in the top right corner.

2. Select `Admin settings`.

3. Click `Authentication`.

4. Click `API keys`.

5. Click `Create API key`.

6. Enter a recognizable name.

7. Select a group with the required permissions to invite other users, e.g. `Administrators`.

8. Click `Create`.

9. Copy the API key and paste it into the corresponding field in Cakewalk.
