Factorial
Connect Factorial to Cakewalk as an identity source: confirm you are in the Administrators group, then sign in with Factorial.
Factorial connects to Cakewalk with Sign in with Factorial, using an account in the Administrators permission group. The shared flow in Connecting an HRIS covers what syncs and what happens after you save; this page covers the Factorial side.
✅ Before You Start
Your account needs to belong to the "Administrators" permission group in your company's Factorial HR instance.
To check: log in to Factorial HR, click Settings in the sidebar on the left and look for the API Keys tab under the Advanced configuration section. If you cannot see the tab or the section, your account is not in the "Administrators" group. Find out who is in the group and ask them to promote you or take over the setup.
🛠 Connect
In Cakewalk, go to Settings → Data Sources → Users and select Factorial.
In the connection dialog, click Sign in with Factorial.
The first sync starts immediately. Sync details and cadence: Connecting an HRIS.
