The shared flow in [Connecting an HRIS](/docs/platform-overview/connections-and-integrations/connecting-an-hris.md) covers what syncs and what happens after you save; this page covers the Factorial side. ### ✅ Before You Start * Your account needs to belong to the "Administrators" permission group in your company's Factorial HR instance. * To check: log in to Factorial HR, click **Settings** in the sidebar on the left and look for the **API Keys** tab under the **Advanced configuration** section. If you cannot see the tab or the section, your account is not in the "Administrators" group. Find out who is in the group and ask them to promote you or take over the setup. ### 🛠 Connect 1. In Cakewalk, go to **Settings → Data Sources → Users** and select Factorial. 2. In the connection dialog, click **Sign in with Factorial**. The first sync starts immediately.
