Officient

Connect Officient to Cakewalk as an identity source: where to register the app, set its scopes and generate the access token.

Officient connects to Cakewalk with an access token from an app you register on Officient's Developers page; for the shared flow, see Connecting an HRIS.

✅ Before You Start

• You need an Officient account with access to the Developers page: click your profile in the top right corner and check that Developers appears.

🛠 Connect

1. In Cakewalk, go to Settings → Data Sources → Users and select Officient.
2. In Officient, click your profile in the top right corner and go to Developers.
3. Click Register a new App, enter a name and press Create app.
4. Select Edit Scopes and add the scopes the connection flow prompts for. For each permission, enable read or write access as prompted. The connection flow shows the exact list.
5. Click Generate access token and select the longest possible expiration time.
6. Copy the generated token and paste it into the connection flow.
