Connect Sage HR to Cakewalk as an identity source: the role you need, your subdomain and where to enable API access.

Sage HR connects to Cakewalk with your Sage HR subdomain and an API key you enable in Sage HR's settings. The shared flow in Connecting an HRIS covers what syncs and what happens after you save; this page covers the Sage HR side.

✅ Before You Start

• Your account needs the Settings Administrator role in your company's Sage HR instance.
• To check: log in to Sage HR and click your username in the top right corner. If you cannot see the Settings item in the menu, your account does not have the role.
• Find out who has the Settings Administrator role in your company's Sage HR instance and ask them to grant your account the role or take over the setup.

🛠 Connect

1. In Cakewalk, go to Settings → Data Sources → Users and select Sage HR.
2. Note your subdomain: it appears in the URL bar when you are logged in to Sage HR, in the form https://yourdomain.sage.hr.
3. In Sage HR, click your username in the top right corner, then click Settings.
4. Click Integrations in the side menu, then click API.
5. Click Enable API access under the API section.
6. Copy the key shown after Your API key and paste it into the connection flow.
